June 2024 Campus Updates

Update Provided By:

Update Provided By: Mike O’Toole

-We are excited to have recently hosted the ND State Staff Senate annual face-to-face meeting on our campus. This meeting, spread over an afternoon and following morning, allowed for lots of great discussion about the direction the ND SSS will work towards over the next year.

-Our staff senate at DCB has had a more active voice this past year, largely in part to our Campus Dean forming a College Council, which has representation from the Staff, Faculty, and Student Senates. Along with forming of the College Council, several internal campus policies/procedures were revised to have the College Council serve as an active role in steering the direction our campus moves forward in. This has brought a lot of positive momentum towards our Staff Senate having a voice and larger purpose.

-We will most likely not meet again until August, as the summer term is a challenging time to find a meeting date where most are available.
